Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten Registration

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

Transitional Kindergarten

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a free, full-day early entrance program for children who are scheduled to enter kindergarten the following year.  TK students must be 4 years old on Sept. 1.  The program focuses on basic academic and social/emotional skills to help qualifying students get a jump start towards success in school.  New student enrollment can be found on our Colville School District home page at www.colsd.org. If you have any questions about the process, please contact Hofstetter School at 509-684-7690.

Families will be contacted later in August to schedule the screening. The screening process consists of a Family Connection Meeting and a series of child assessments to determine development and program readiness.
