Colville High School ASB's March Mania Bingo event is TOMORROW NIGHT Friday, March 7th. This family-friendly evening promises fun and entertainment for all, while raising funds to benefit CHS clubs and athletic teams. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, with Bingo running from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Bingo cards can be purchased for $5 and includes six Bingo cards, giving plenty of chances to win fantastic prizes. In addition to Bingo, the event will feature a silent auction, raffle tickets for large prizes, and a concessions stand offering pizza, soda, water, candy, and popcorn. CHS extends heartfelt thanks to local businesses for their generous support through donations and prizes, which help make this event a success. Colville FFA Trap traveled to Spangle for the Freeman shoot on Saturday, March 1st where the Colville Team #1 placed 2nd. Colton Hanson was the first place individual male shooter and Emily Elliott and her shooting partner that was randomly drawn from another school placed 3rd in the game Buddy. There were a total of 39 squads, 175 shooters and 21 schools attended. Atta way Hawks!
Colville FFA Trap traveled to St.John over the weekend. There were 19 squads from 12 different schools that attended. The Colville FFA Team 1 paced 1st! All 12 Colville shooters did well and achieved some personal bests! Way to go Hawks!

On Thursday, February 6th, nine Colville High School students participated in a Work-Based Learning tour of Providence Mt. Carmel Hospital. Hospital staff presented job and career opportunities from a wide range of employment areas, including medical assistants, lab techs, pharmacy techs, IT, engineering, radiology, nursing, and many more. Our students represented CHS well by engaging in mature conversations with professionals in all walks of the medical field. Thank you Providence, you made our students feel welcome and needed as they consider their future employment opportunities!

One of Colville School District's goals is to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Hofstetter School hosted our annual Veterans Day assembly on November 8th this year to honor the family members and friends of our students. More than 30 veterans were able to attend! It was a wonderful opportunity to thank these men and women for their service to our country.

The CHS Drama Club’s newest production “The Murder of Raven’s Haven" is a fantasy, mystery play by CHS senior Luke McCombs.
A murder or what looks to be a murder takes place one night in the early Victorian fantasy town of Raven’s Haven. Luckily Detective Eddison Warnhard, a cheerful young man blessed with the ability to see ghosts is on the case. However, soon he finds supernatural elements are at play when he murdered man rises from the dead. While on his investigation he encounters Lady Catarina, a vampiric vampire huntress out for revenge. Despite their conflicting methods of mystery-solving, they decide to put aside their differences to uncover the truth and stop the monster before they strike again.

Last week, Hofstetter helped send the Colville High School Cross Country Team to State Competition. The Colville High School Cross Country team was sent to Pasco for the state tournament in style. The Hofstetter students were excited to see the team run the hallways and offered high fives.
The Colville School District will be having Parent-Teacher Conferences tomorrow, Thursday, October 31 and Friday, November 1st. These are non school days for students. If you have questions or need to schedule a conference, please call your student's school office. Thank you!

The Colville School District is working with local police and our school security officer to ensure our schools are safe and secure.
