One of Colville School District's goals is to ensure the safety of all students and staff. In the spirit of continued improvement, all the Colville School District entrances are now fitted with cameras and buzz-in systems. Please be patient when entering Colville Schools as we implement the new system following Winter Break. Please remember that there is no school from Monday, December 23rd through Friday, January 3rd. Hofstetter School hosted our annual Veterans Day assembly on November 8th this year to honor the family members and friends of our students. More than 30 veterans were able to attend! It was a wonderful opportunity to thank these men and women for their service to our country.

The CHS Drama Club’s newest production “The Murder of Raven’s Haven" is a fantasy, mystery play by CHS senior Luke McCombs.
A murder or what looks to be a murder takes place one night in the early Victorian fantasy town of Raven’s Haven. Luckily Detective Eddison Warnhard, a cheerful young man blessed with the ability to see ghosts is on the case. However, soon he finds supernatural elements are at play when he murdered man rises from the dead. While on his investigation he encounters Lady Catarina, a vampiric vampire huntress out for revenge. Despite their conflicting methods of mystery-solving, they decide to put aside their differences to uncover the truth and stop the monster before they strike again.

Last week, Hofstetter helped send the Colville High School Cross Country Team to State Competition. The Colville High School Cross Country team was sent to Pasco for the state tournament in style. The Hofstetter students were excited to see the team run the hallways and offered high fives.

The Colville School District is working with local police and our school security officer to ensure our schools are safe and secure. Congratulations to the 225 Colville High School students who achieved either Honor Roll or High Honor Roll for Semester Two for the 2023-2024 school year! Honor Roll is achieved by earning a GPA of 3.0 to 3.499 and High Honor Roll is achieved by earning a 3.5 to a 4.0 GPA for the semester. Way to go Hawks, keep up the good work!
The CHS Video Production class just finished their final project of the year. Crimson Profiles consists of several 90-second spotlights from around our school. This is dubbed "Episode 1," as we intend to make this an on-going production in the future. The Colville School District would like to remind families that the last day of school, Friday, June 14th will be an early release day. On June 14th, schools will release three and a half hours earlier than normal. If your student rides an afternoon bus, the drop off time for your student will be three and a half hours earlier than normal as well. The Colville High School Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2024 is tomorrow, Saturday, June 8 at 11:00 am. The ceremony will be held at the CHS football stadium. Attendees may also watch the live stream in the school's air-conditioned auditorium. Good afternoon! This is a message from the Colville School District. In the last week we have been informed of several bear sightings throughout Colville. The Department of Wildlife and local law enforcement have been called on each occasion to ensure public safety. If your child walks to and from school, please remind them to be aware and never approach wildlife. If they see a bear they should contact Stevens County Dispatch as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding student safety, please call 509-684-7850.
Yesterday the Forestry class competed in the Stevens County Conservation District forestry contest at Douglas Falls against 2 other schools, Wenatchee and Garfield-palouse. Colville students were divided into three teams. Students competed in 9 different practicums. Awards were given to the top three of each. There were a lot of personal bests and their skill level really shined yesterday. Way to go Hawks!
